Jira add-on

Track time in Quidlo Timesheets straight from your issues in Jira.


Quidlo Timesheets for Jira is available for Jira Cloud only. The add-on is free of charge, however requires both Quidlo Timesheets and Jira accounts.


How to install Quidlo Timesheets for Jira


To integrate the add-on with Jira, just follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Jira instance as an admin.

  2. Go to Jira settings and choose Apps.

  3. Find Quidlo Timesheets for Jira.

  4. Click Install and confirm in order to install the add-on.

  5. Your are ready to go! Navigate to your tickets and start using Quidlo Timesheets for Jira.


First use of Quidlo Timesheets for Jira


Once you’ve installed the add-on, the only missing part is to associate your Jira user account with the Quidlo Timesheets account. In order to do so:

  1. When you navigate to an issue in your Jira account, you’ll see a new Quidlo Timesheets section on the right side of the screen.

  2. Click Sign in button. You’ll be directed to Quidlo Timesheets Web App.

  3. Log in to the Web App and confirm the connection. Then we will take you back to your Jira.

  4. Now you’re all sorted. Track or log time straight from your issues in Jira using our add-on.


Using Quidlo Timesheets for Jira


Once you’ve completed the configuration, you’re ready to start tracking straight time from your Jira account! This add-on enables you to track time to Quidlo Timesheets directly from issues in Jira. When you navigate to an issue in your Jira account, you’ll always see the Quidlo Timesheets section on the right side of the screen.

  1. First open the section and select your organization and project. Selections are remembered per Jira project.

  2. Then start tracking your time or pick a date and log your entries manually. You can track one issue at the same time.

  3. The description field will be prefilled with the issue code and summary.

  4. Also you’ll be able to see how much time has been tracked to this issue in Jira, as Jira Worklog associated with the issue is automatically updated with time tracked with Quidlo Timesheets.
